Not question. Guide for Saitek Pro Gamer for your review...

Asked by Lighttitan

This is not a question. I came across this thread in the Ubuntu forums of someone trying to get their Saitek Pro Gammer Controller working with Linux.

I directed them to your Pystromo and wrote them a little tutorial on how to get it working with their Saitek. If you have some free time and feel like it, take a look at it and see if I missed something or told them something wrong.

Just trying to spread the word about your Pystromo... It's the best tool for our controllers out there!

Helping out random strangers on the internet, that's what it's all about! :D

I posted a reply to the second thread mentioned, so you might want to edit your original post/s with any changes needed. When writing tutorials or HOWTOs for beginners, it's very important to triple-check that what you've written is accurate - shame on you for using Windows! ;)

I updated the guide with the corrections you listed.

I did however leave the instructional part about extracting the actual contents of Pystromo 0.6.0 to /home/username/.config/pystromo.

I understand you can put it anywhere. I think it's just easier if I keep it in the same place as my config files when it comes to writing the guide as it's less variables the tutorial reader as to deal with.

At the beginning of the Tutorial I added a reference to your README file in the Pystromo tar file.

Let me know if I missed any of the corrections, I may have as I am very tired and need some sleep. I will check it tomorrow.
