Hello Raumkraut,
yesterday I bought a Belkin Nostromo N52te for playing guildwars. After half an one hour spending with the old nostromo drivers from soundforge and serveral how-tos just ending with a starting and rapidly aborting nostromo_daemon i tried your code, just had to add the device and the Bus ID and it worked perfectly.

Many many thanks for this nice remapper ;)

I was about to ask if this script handles N52te as well, but your comment already provided an answer :) I guess it's time to buy N52te now :)

I got pystromo working with my older N52 but never could get it working with the newer n52te. I ended up giving the te to the wife to play with. Anyways after installing the new ubuntu 9.04 i figured i'd give the n52te another shot. as it turned out the thing worked after plugging it in without pystromo.

So I guess the N52te has on board memory! I used the win software that came with the pad on my wifes XP machine, and moved the pad to my linux box and the settings were all there. No need for pystromo. Though it would be nice to change key configs without having to go to an win machine.

Anyways I hope this helps.

thx
