python install failed, how to remove?

I couldn't get pyroom to work on intrepid using:

python setup.py install # as root

for the install method. Now I do not know how to remove the software either. Could you please advise on a method for uninstall? I would like to try this application again once it is available for 8.10 in package form. Thanks!
