Why is this project dead?

Hi,

On the first look this lib seems to be versatile and powerful. Why is there no activity?

Is there another tool that performs similar things in a better or more popular way?

Hahaha :). That question made me laugh.

Because I lack time to develop it. And nobody pitched in yet. But that doesn't surprise me, given that the other projects I work on, that are much more important and major projects, are driven by so few people. The amount of people pitching in to do some work is small. But you are welcomed to join in. The project is hosted on launchpad, with distributed version control to make it really easy to help out.

On a side note, this project wasn't developed as cleanly as it should have (not tested are architectured as well as I would like, because I wasn't terribly experienced when I started it. But I came to realize that there are many successful projects like this that are very successful, because even if it isn't perfect, it can get the job done.
