Easily add files (Using nautilus scripts)

Asked by neub

Hello,

I was just wondering if you could add some new features for the next version ... There should ease the way of adding files...
For example a users should put pyrenamer in the Nautilus script dir and then it could select directly which file he should rename or not.

Thanks for this great program.

Hello,

I will add a Nautilus extension in the next version to solve this. By now, you can use Nautilus Actions + pyRenamer as explained here http://cgmax.wordpress.com/2008/10/13/zmiana-nazw-wielu-plikow-w-nautilusie/ (i think it's polish, but it's easy to understand)

Hummm:

i've tried this but with the version 0.6.0 you can not give any repertories as input... For me its doesn't work....
Otherwise it should also work in console mode:

for exemple if i write $>pyrenamer /home/user/files/to/renames/
the software start with my home directory.

For the integration with nautilus it would good to integrate it with a nautilus script at least...

@nueb: Could you please open a bug for this and attach any message given in console? This works ok in my system...
