angle distribution of transmitted and backscatter electrons and photons

Asked by alexandra

Hello !
  1) I want to ask you about probability of angle distribution of transmitted and backskattered electrons and photons. Does it possible?

2) Can I simulate geometry like this:

Aluminum filter| |sourse of electrons|Tungtsen|

I want to observe filtered spectrum of backscattered photons

best wishes, Sasha

1) The angular distributions (emerging electrons and emerging photons) are given for a polar angle between 0 and 180 deg. The angle is defined from the positive z-axis. In other words, the backscattered electrons or photons are between 0 and 90 deg and the transmitted between 90 deg and 180 deg.

2) There is no way currently to have such geometry, but it would technically be possible to create a new geometry for this. I will add a bug for this.
