mount windows shares at boot?

Asked by rfrye7533

This is not a pyNH problem. On the contrary, pyNH is providing me with a solution of sorts.

I seem to be having a problem with permissions after mounting to a CIFS on a WinXP box from ubuntu 9.10 via /etc/fstab. I have found, however, that pyNH allows me to mount the shared directories with full permissions. Is there a way to configure pyNH to automatically mount these directories at boot time?

Also, if I boot to cli, what is the command to use pyNH without the gui?

Good Morning,

pyNeighborhood has now "non-gui" Mode. So you cannot use pyNeighborhood to mount Shares on System boot.

But, of course, you can start pyNeighborhood with --debug an try to find out how pyNeighborhood mounts your CIFS Shares.

Greetings

Thanks for the answer. It really isn't too much of a hassle to mount these windows shares each time I want to reboot. pyNeighborhood is great software.
