Now that SalesForce has announced Force.Com for Google App Engine will pyax run in the Google Cloud ?

The Google Force.Com code for Python uses Beatbox... but will pyax run in the Google App Engine ?

Not initally. Though it's a goal to eventually have pyax be available for Google App Engine, and the modification to beatbox to support this is small (I've looked at this prior to the sfdc toolkit for App Engine), time, and more specifically testing are the gating factors here.

The beatbox implementation for the Google App Engine provides other interesting enhancements to be investigated as well, perhaps to simplify or eliminate reliance on the unpackomatic module.
