Menus (&...) when translating

Asked by Emmanuel

Hi. When translating, it appears difficult to be consistent with the menus. For example, Save becomes Enregistrer in French and I don't know if I am supposed to put &Enregister instead of &Save : it is not the same letter and I don't know if "E" is used somewhere else.

Will you be able to make sure those letters are not in used twice or more? or perhaps can we use the search feature to collect all info that contains "&" ?

Thanks for your help

OK, I reviewed all letters used in the English version and I will provide a French translation with relevant letters in order not to have the same letter in use for two or more sub-menus within one head menu.

I guess the problem is solved.

You don't need to use the same letter as English. It is best not to reuse a letter on the same menu, but it is not a huge deal if you do. You can always change it later to use different letters if you find duplicates.
