extract dashboard?

Asked by pjv

WOW. prosepoint is a truly rockin derivation of drupal. great work!

i am currently creating a site for a nonprofit that is not a news or magazine like context, otherwise i would just build it on top of prosepoint and be happy.

that said, i am going to spend the next little bit yanking your editor and image and media handling modules and workflow out of prosepoint and integrating them into the site i am building. the other very beautiful thing that i would really love to swipe is the dashboard. how is the dashboard created? is that done with composite layout? i installed pp 0.14 locally and wandered around in there, thinking that it would be some combination of composite layout and views or something. but i couldn't find its source anywhere. is it coming from the prosepoint module itself? would there be a reasonable way to extract the dashboard functionality independent of the rest of the pp structure and expose ways to customize its content and layout, or is it too deeply embedded in the entire prosepoint architecture?

thanks in advance and again, great work with pp.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your compliments and encouragement.

The dashboard is, unfortunately, hardcoded for now. It's more of a placeholder for when we work out what and how to put things in there.

If you really really want to fiddle around with it, the source is in the file .../profiles/prosepoint/modules/prosepoint/pp.admin.inc, from about line 40 onwards.

Can you help with this problem?
