Source node not found

Asked by Michael McCarthy

Hi,

I have updated to 0.14. I wanted to create a new "Source". So, after reading the tutorial, I went like so: content management > create content > ... I don't find "Source" in the list. Am I not looking in the right place?

Best,
Michael

Should I just re-install?

Hi,

Yes, there should be an option to create a Source node.

Unless you are logged in as an unprivileged user ie. staff?

HI,

I was logged in as "Editor", a user that I've given permissions for all activities. I went through an made sure that Editor had all the permissions again - and I've got all the boxes checked, including the two items that have the word "source" in them: "view field_source" and "edit field_source". Is it possible when I was deleting the contributors Joe and Jane that I somehow deleted the "source" content type?

Thanks for your help with this.

Best,
Michael

That is possible. In which case, you could try recreating the 'source' content type (if you feel confident trying to do so). Else, a reinstall might be the way to go (but you lose your data :( )
