configuring email account - 'invalid form'

Hi I'm trying to configure an email account but I get the response 'Invalid form, correct red field' when I check the incoming or outgoing connection. There isn't a red field however. The only field which isn't filled in is the 'Folder' field and it wont let me make an entry. Any ideas??
