configuring email account - 'invalid form'

Hi I'm trying to configure an email account but I get the response 'Invalid form, correct red field' when I check the incoming or outgoing connection. There isn't a red field however. The only field which isn't filled in is the 'Folder' field and it wont let me make an entry. Any ideas??

Hi,

Unfortunately Open ERP only says that you should fill the red fields but doesnt change the focus to those fields.

One option is using the KDE client (KOO) which does show you which field is not filled.

I believe, you have chosen a company account and not added the user groups who have access rights.

Many thanks for your response. Where would I start with implementing the KDE client? I'll look into adding the user groups with access rights but any pointers would be much appreciated....

I have been working at it and now have a different error :-

SMTP Server Error

An error occurred : (11001, 'getaddrinfo failed')

The incoming server is now working fine.

Can you help with this problem?
