Can you provide an example for automated emails based on a server action?

Can you please provide an example (using the latest stable release of openerp & client since most people would be using that) for entering a server action such that when a manager assigns as project TASK to a USER, that user gets an automated email telling him that a new task has been assigned.

My understanding is that poweremail can do this. I tried to adjust another example to do this, but the options I've seen on the screen did not match the example. I had no idea what to enter where.

The example can be something else too as long as an automated email is sent to the user who gets assigned something. (opportunity, project, claim etc).
