You can set the number of days from the date of expiry, rather than the number of months?
My requirement is to give visitors a chance to register on my site and have an account with the limited duration to 24 hours. After this period, the account should expire and the user should be deleted.

I hope someone can help me solve the problem.

No, you can't set the number of days from the date of expiry in this plugin, but someone else asked me to create that functionality, so I created that functionality in this Joomla module, which should do what you want:
