Dictionary Help

I am using the plover and everything is working, but I would like to save updates to the dictionary and I am not sure I am understanding how to do this or if it is possible. Or from what I have been reading do I have to create my own dictionary aside from the Plover dictionary to put in entries that are compatible with my writing? BTW, I am in Windows 10 environment. Also cannot find the directory Plover is using, even when I search for it, or even Plover for that matter. Thanks for your help!
