Ubuntu 12.10 fails to boot since upgrading to development version

Asked by Edmond Condillac

I have choice of booting with Ubuntu with Linux3.7.0-5 generic and recovery mode, 3.5.0-20 generic and recovery mode, 3.5.0-19 generic and recovery mode. With the generic optons, the booting stops with the endless display of the xbuntu screen. With the recovery mode options there is copious display of output trials, most with accompanying error messages of failure.
Kindly help and advise, if possible, how i may revert to the Ubuntu 12.10 original operating system, which was running well prior to upgrading to Ubuntu 13.04 the latest devolopment trial.
Thank you very much.

I reinstalled Ubuntu Linux 11.10 after backing up my previous files. Thanks.
