Launch programs with options

Hello,
Is it possible to add a dock item that opens a program with specific options? For instance, launch "libreoffice --writer <myfile>"?

Usually this would need a custom desktop-file with a tweaked Exec compared to the original one. In your case while opening a specific file you can simply pin this file to the dock. Note you can add any file with drag'n'drop to plank.

Thanks Rico !
My first attempt was: open Libreoffice, file>open specific file, click on "Keep in dock" but that didn't work.
The appropriate way is indeed to drag and drop the file directly to plank.
