Is it possible to have Plank just after booting ?

Asked by Nairwolf

Hi,

I'm a recent user of Plank, I think it's a nice dock. Thank you so much for your work. It's very useful ;)
But, just after booting, I need to launch Plank. Do you know if it's possible to have Plank automatically after booting ?

Thank you.

Hi,

Of course, you have to add Plank to "auto-start" of your desktop environment. What desktop do you use? Xfce, Lxde, Gnome?

Greetings, Piotr

yes, you have to enter the setting "autostart" which allow you to automatically boot application. so create a new one and insert the word plank on cammand line, so reboot and check if it works:)

Can you help with this problem?
