Sudo problem assigning pipelight to Silverlight

Command $sudo pipelight-plugin --enable silverlight
would not put the plugin into Firefox. Remove the sudo and it works great. (Linux Mint 18), Thank you for the best tutorial I have ever found. I can't believe I got this to work. I make a lot of mistakes and you pointed them all out to me.
