Screen blank after changing tab on chrome

When using Netflix, and I pause the video and switch to another tab, the screen appears for like half a second then goes into a black screen.

This only happens on chrome for me and it works fine on firefox.

Is there any fix?

Works fine for me. Could you please run the following diagnostic check:

pipelight-plugin --system-check

And attach the output (for example by posting a link to http://pastebin.com, if its too big to insert directly).

Besides that: Which window manager / desktop environment do you use?

Hello,

When i try typing that it says
ERROR: Unknown argument --system-check.

I use LXDE

It seems like you're not using a recent version of Pipelight. Can you please provide some more details about your distro, and how you installed it?

On Ubuntu/Debian based systems you can use:
dpkg --list | grep pipelight
dpkg --list | grep wine-compholio

Ít seems like you're still using Ubuntu 13.04, which is isn't supported anymore. The support for this distribution ended in january, and shortly afterwards Launchpad also removed the possibility to publish new versions. As the lifetime has expired, you will also receive no further updates (not even security updates) for regular system packages.

I would definitely recommend to update to a supported distribution, and then check again. The current version numbers are 0.2.7.1 for Pipelight, and 1.7.21 for Wine-compholio.

If you decide to upgrade, and it still doesn't work afterwards, just ask again, and I can give some additional ideas you can try out.
