Arch Linux: Unable to install pipelight from repository

Asked by Schakalakka

I wanted to install pipelight via repository following these instructions:

http://fds-team.de/cms/pipelight-installation.html#section_1_2_1

I added the server in the pacman.conf and the keys. But then I got

"Warnung: database file for 'pipelight' does not exist
Fehler: Ziel nicht gefunden: pipelight"

if I want to install via "sudo pacman -S pipelight".

Did I miss something?

I did pacaur (and therefore pacman) update and now it works. I'm not sure if it is the reason but I'm good with it. ;)

Hi,

thanks for reporting this back. I think there is a

pacman -y

missing in the installation instructions, in order to download a new list
of packages from all repositories (*wondering why noone else complained
about that ^^*). I'll add that later to the instructions.

Regards,
Sebastian
