Broken XATTR with 1.7.13 Compholio Upgrade

Asked by Tim Hallett

Good day Sebastian!
Although not so good here...after months of nea-flawless performance the latest update to Compholio (1.7.13) seems to have killed XATTR leading to load failures. I have attempted several fresh installs, but all that seems to accomplish is to generate pluginloader.exe errors at new startup (disabling HW acceleration handles that, however I am still unable to connect to Netflix), the issue is,how can I force XATTR enabling during install using the directions given for Ubuntu? or do I have to download the binaries and do a manual compile? If so, please give directions.

Its a regression and we're already working on it. The linked bug report provides a temporary fix (by downgrading manually to 1.7.12).

Thank you for the quick reply Sebastian,
Since nothing is working anyway, I have enabled HW acceleration again, and will simply wait for the next patch. Thank you for all your hard work

The problem was fixed in the meantime, just update packages again and the problem should be resolved.

Can you help with this problem?
