Unfortunately Chromium (not Google Chrome) changed something in their plugin API, which breaks ALL existing user agent switchers.

See the following links:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=289776
http://askubuntu.com/questions/360954/all-chromium-extensions-throw-errors-since-update-to-13-10
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1232575

To get this working again, you can temporarily use the following workarounds:

* Set the user-agent via commandline:
chromium-browser --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20120427 Firefox/15.0a1"

* Use firefox instead

* Use Google Chrome instead of Chromium

We will update this FAQ as soon as there is a user-agent switcher which also works on Ubuntu 13.10 (if you know one, please report it to us!).
