is it possible to use the line/curve tool but the lines/curves is a solid color

I'm not quite sure what this means - the line/curve tool does draw a solid color line. There is an anti-aliasing toggle on the toolbar if you want to avoid any semi-transparent pixels at the edges, though?
Otherwise, perhaps an example image might illustrate the issue?
