Which OS are you on? From google it sounds like GdkPixbuf might support loading svg if the appropriate pixbuf loader plugin is installed.

Right now; Windows.

But, in general, I use it all - and I am making Pinta to be my go-to "paint-replacement"
(If only Pinta Portable [win] was somehow bundled with gtk-sharp-2.12.22 and/or it had a loud BANG if gtk-sharp is missing, with a URL to download it)

Thanks, I think you could submit a bug for SVG support since I don't see anything in the tracker.
