MSN protocol: strange symbols in chat window, Pidging 2.6.2, Windows

Asked by intro

When using MSN protocol in Pidgin 2.6.2 (Windows Vista), when You get incoming messages (in Russian) it's impossible to understand them (strange unreadable symbols like rectangles and numbers inside them). If you look in history - everything is okay. When copy this unreadable message and paste into text editor, you can read it.

Bugs about Pidgin on !Ubuntu should be reported on the Pidgin bug tracker: http://developer.pidgin.im/
That said, on Windows, you need to install/use the fonts that contain the characters you'd like to display.

Can you help with this problem?
