How do I install and/or remove a message theme?

Asked by Jakub 'Livio' Rusinek

I have just compiled and copied webkit.so to appropriate directory and need to know, where do I place message theme and what exactly I put there (when extracting archive from adiumxtras.com I'm a bit confused).

I hope there is easy way to install them or it is planned to support archive available from adiumxtras.com without extracting files by user.

Currently it works so that you extract <stylename>.AdiumMessageStyle -directory from the archive you downloaded from adiumxtras.com and place it to .purple/message_styles under your home directory.
Most probably there will be some kind of installation, maybe drag-n-drop later, and maybe support for using those archives directly without unpacking.

I think you should put this more explicitly in your README file. (ie: Go to adiumextras.com and get MessageThemes and place them in message_styles).

And then once you unpack the message theme in your purple/message_styles directory and restart pidgin (if necessary), you should then 'Configure' the webkit plugin from the Tools->Plugins window and choose the theme you want.
