MusicBrainz Picard

picard chrashes with ogg files

when I try to tag *.ogg files picard crashes with a 'Segmentation fault'. What does it mean? I'm using ubuntu 9.10 with the distros version of picard.

This is a known bug in the version of Picard which ships with 9.10, see also the linked bug #368097. Until Ubuntu releases a fixed version I suggest you try Picard from the PPA at https://launchpad.net/~phw/+archive/ppa
