article title containing non-URL letters & SEF

Asked by flobster

I'm quite shure the following is not a document coding issue, as the tested pages are completely utf-8:
When article titles contain non-URL chars like ! ? " or even é äöü, these chars are deleted from the saved article_href, but resulting URLS seem to be inaccessible to me. For example the article titled <check this out!> will get an article_href like <check-this-out>, but when calling the URL i get an error <The article/page requested (check-this-out | check this out) does not exist.>

flobster,

Please file a bug at the launchpad "bugs" section for phpns. I'll
hopefully get around to it later this week.

Can you help with this problem?
