How to show front page after login

How do I get the front page to display after logging in. I set what page to display as the front page after logging in. This was done the Theme Setting page. If click the Front Page or upper left application icon I go to the page specified in Theme Settings. I want to go to that page immediately after logging in. Right now the dashboard is diplayed after logging in.

Under general settings, there is a option to System Management->System Admin->System Settings there is a option under tab "Server Settings" -> Redirect Login
