File location for backup ver .46

Asked by K

I really do like this program but I would like to either be able to print my list or at the very least, back-up the file. I followed the instructions for a question about backup and the psafe3 file. I could not find the file in Ubuntu from the UI or command prompt. Possibly the file is a different name in a different location. An ability to print would be of great benefit. I'm running Ubuntu 16.04. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The file to backup should be .local/share/pasaffe/pasaffe.psafe3 in your home directory.

To see it, open the file manager (Nautilus), type Ctrl-L, and paste in the location. In my case, the full path is /home/mdeslaur/.local/share/pasaffe/pasaffe.psafe3

I'll think about adding printing support, I'm not sure that's something I want to do.

You could use the pasaffe-dump-db tool if you want to dump everything to a text file. That will also dump passwords, so be careful.

Can you help with this problem?
