Notification mouse over animation?

Asked by Steven Verbeek

Hello,

This is kind of more a design question I suppose, but why did we choose to do a "mouseover fadeout"? Does that not seem like the opposite action you would want to happen when you mouse over something?

If this is not intended then I shall report a bug, but on my system when you mouse over a notification it fades out.

If you are sure you are using pantheon-notify (which is not the default grey notifications), then this is a bug. pantheon-notify notifications are white and have a small black 'x' in the corner on hover.

Everything I see on a default installation is gray. All notifications appear to be notify-osd default skin. Looking at the code it does seem that it should be white.

I'm basing this off the default installation of beta 1.

See the other question, pantheon-notify is not enabled by default, yet:
