Network connection not saving Username/Password

Got a quick question... I'm on a network here at my house and when I connect with eOS to my Mac I can asked for my Username/Password that's on the machine I'm connecting too. Well there's 3 options to choose from "Forget password immediately"/"Remember password until you logout"/"Remember forever". Well I've tried the last 2 and neither do what they are saying they will. When I connect to the Mac and access the shares I don't want to be asked each time for a username/password. Is there a way to fix this so that I can connect and that information is automatically sent so I have access pronto :)

Hello Jason,

Are you using Freya or Luna? This function seems to work OK for me for Samba shares at least (I do not have a Mac so I cannot reproduce your set up). I don't think this worked in Luna.
