Right click share this folder option

Hi Guys,

Brand new Elementary OS user here. Love the work done... congrats.

I am looking for a way to share folders via our local network. I am used to right-clicking a folder, then selecting share. This would bring up a small window where I can set option for this share. How do I do this using Elementary OS Freya?

Hi Selwyn,

This is a feature which elementary OS currently does not have, but has been requested. You can view the discussion behind it here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pantheon-files/+bug/1303524

Note that there is also a bounty on this issue ($65 at the time of writing). That means, whoever implements this feature will get paid $65. This is important since elementary OS is a community driven project. Thanks very much for your reply. I have marked the bug as affecting me as well. I see on the last post in both launcpad and bountysource are a few questions, I would like to answer that, should I do that on launchpad or bounty source or both?
