FTP in Files

Is there a way to use FTP in Files?

I would like to use it like I use FileZilla now. For sharing files between my computer and my hoster for my home page.

If you open Pantheon and look in the left panel, below Personal and Devices, there should be a section called Network.

Right-click Entire Network and then 'Connect to Server...' where you should be able to enter your usual FTP login details.

A side note -- SFTP is more secure and should be used whenever possible.

Sorry to get back this late.

Confirmed that FTP works in Files, using your guide. Thanks for a correct answer to this. I haven't tried FTPS yet, as my hoster is a bit lazy with it.
