Asked by waqas

How can I enable or disable status bar in any directory so that I can view the size of the file I have selected and the size of the drive I am currently browsing.

Maybe I'm wrong, but Files no have statusbar. All apps of Elementary no have statusbar.

Now for see size files use hint at bottom-right of window. If select one file then: "Filename - FileType (FizeSize)". If we select two, three files: "3 items selected (67,3 kB)".

I think in future this work correct for folders, too.

If you want to know the free size of a disk, right click any folder inside that disk and click "Properties".
The properties window will show the free and used space of the disk.

We want to provide a better way to find out the size of a volume. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/pantheon-files/+bug/1189114.

Can you help with this problem?
