Where are media files properties?

Hi,
On right click on pictures files to look at properties, there's some important informations missing such as:
- size in pixels
- resolution
- (eventually) profile color
Same kind of missing informations with video files :
- size in pixels
- framerate
- number of audio channels (& eventually audio codec)
- container (& eventually codec embedded)
and audio files...
Well it may not be intended for basic users but very usefull for some. Is there any plans or ways to display more detailed informations?
