Symlink and original folder has the same "look"?

Asked by Coeur Noir on 2013-04-11

Hi,

Is this just me, or a bug or intended:
When creating symlink [sudo ln...] the resulting icon is not different from original file, which is confusing?

Bravo again and best regards.

The icon should have a small arrow in the corner, as per the picture. If your system is fully up to date feel free to report it as a bug. http://i.imgur.com/OvAB9Pd.png

It's ok most of the time.

Except in /usr/local/bin

where links appear as "normal" files - meaning like copies of the linked files.

It may be normal behavior in this "special" folder ?

I encounter this when browsing ssh shares on remote systems.

Can you help with this problem?
