I didn't find search function to find some files/folders... Where is it?

just type the string you want to look for.

Typing the string will only sort within the open folder. For searching for files/folders i'm using catfish: http://twotoasts.de/index.php/catfish/

Install 'gnome-search-tool' using Synaptic. I tried Catfish once, but it didn't found all the files I was looking for.
