Transparent dock

I use Elementary since Luna, and I know that Freya Beta has the option to make transparent the dock. Why you don'y add this feature in Loki? Is an useful thing. I don't want to install Elementary tweaks just for that. On elementary google + page, you can see that a lot of people change the dock with other application or just use any option for dock.

In Freya beta if I remember well you have 3 option for dock. :)

By transparent, do you mean that you only wish to see the icons, with no background?

If this is the case, here's what you should do:

Place your mouse cursor on the edge, just far enough away from any dock icons, then press 'ctrl-right click" on the dock, and the menu including 'preferences' will show up, in which you can change the theme of the dock.
