Pantheon Dock

dont like dock and cant get rid

im not keen on using plank so how do i stop it working on start up, there seems no way to just get rid of it and much prefer cairo-dock. ty

Simply install dconf-editor, head to /org/pantheon/cerbere and there remove plank from the list of monitored-processes.
