Why is SphinxSE not in MariaDB 5.1?

I noticed SphinxSE is in the 5.0 OurDelta distribution but not in 5.1? I've been having trouble building it for 5.1, Percona-5.1, or MariaDB-5.1 so I don't know if this is a known issue? It sure would be nice to see it in there though! :)

For 5.1 it needs the plugin approach, I understand the aim is to include it in MariaDB.
We haven't tried building sphinx SE for 5.1 recently, so can't say. I do know Andrew is very responsive, so if there's a bug he'll be right on it.

The MariaDB target is to include this in MariaDB-5.2. Progress is expected within March, failing which it will make it into MariaDB-5.3.
