Expire time

Asked by Javier Collado

In my tests I see that setting the expiration time to 0 makes a message dialog to be displayed, instead of the nice display usually used for notifications on the upper right corner. Is this the expected behaviour?

Yes. If you are running an automated test and are not looking at the desktop, there is a good chance you will miss the notification if it times out.

I set the expiration time to 0, so the message is not missed by the user.

In KDE the 0 expiration time is displayed nicely like everything else. (not as a separate dialog) I wish gnome worked the same way.
