This project is up to date with OSCommerce 2.2 RC2 and is stable and feature complete as far as our requirements currently stand, so is not undergoing active development.

> The instructions for the install is not like the other instructions I see for oscommerce plugins. For existing installations they usually give you line number instructions on what to add or replace. Perhaps if you did that more people would use it?

The replacement file works for us. Please feel free to contribute that documentation if it is something you've created/used. We'd be more than happy to include that in our distributed code.

We asked OSCommerce but never received a reply. Other than that, we haven't pursued any other projects.

> Finally is SSL requried to securely gather information and pass it along to the OpenID servers? If not then would that not defeat part of the security of having all your ID in one place or is a separate login page that SSL is on OpenID's side?

IIRC this project uses HTTPS if it's available, using the same mechanisms as the existing login/logout pages.

Hi, If my installation did not work, why would you want my installation files? It would probably be best if you installed from the latest version and then made those files available along with manual instructions like other mods have (insert this text after line X)

Sorry, I didn't realise your installation didn't work. Perhaps you can submit a bug and paste the error messages you get to assist in diagnosing the problem?
