Getting Base Station Radiation plot

Asked by azeem

Hi.

I have changed the TX power and the antenna type for my BS, I need to get the Radiation plot now. (to see how my new BS looks like and where to place the users).

Do i need to Add "Scanner" to my UE?. and then make it scan the area?

Thanks for your time,
Regards,
Azeem

Hi,

the Wrowser scenario viewer can be used for that but it does currently
not work unfortunately.

Greats,

Hi,

you can also have a look at the ITU tests in the OFDMAScanner system
test. For that your Antenna needs to probe its gain as it is done in
rise/src/antenna/ITUAntenna. You can use X-Y table probes as shown in
the commented out lines for the "rise.antenna.ITUAntenna.gain" probe in
Probes.py of the OFDMAScanner system test.

Greats,
