Changing Power to a Base Station

Asked by azeem on 2010-07-24

Hi,

I change the "totalpower" and the "txpower" (power per sub band) for a base station, but it doesnt seem to effect the coverage area.

Are there any other parameters that control that?

Regards,
Azeem

Hi,

I assume you are talking about a WiMAX scenario? The tx power for the
non-coexistence scenarios is set by the call to
wimac.support.helper.setupPhy() in the config.py of the tests. So you
have to change it in wimac/PyCOnfig/wimac/support/helper.py or add your
own configuration besiders the IMT-A and LoS_Test model.

Greats,

Mac
