Why Real Time preview very slow, no multiselection tool aviable and no ctrl+z or undo exist?

There is only a recomendation. The real time preview is very slow within effects or transitions and stadard resolution, I'm only have one file in the line time! In Kdenlive I haven't this problems.

I wish a multi selection tool as Adobe premiere or Kdenlive.

The ctrl+z or undo is necesseary.

For the multiple selections tool , undo and ctrl+z it's in the bug list/blueprint.
About the real preview it could depends of the type fo project in input. The version of MLT could explained this too.
