export to mp4 crashes openshot

Asked by Oweson

Hi,
Just started using Openshot. I can expory my video to an AVI, but when I try exporting to an iPod to to MP4, as soon as I click on the 'export video', openshot crashes - totally disappears.

I am running Ubuntu 9.10 and Openshot 0.9.54.

Am I missing the codecs? Any ideas what I need to do get it to work?

(Also, how can I change the size of the font in titles, or split it over two lines?)
Thanks

If you run Openshot from the terminal you should see some output, are there any errors logged there before the crash?

You can't change the font size in the title editor at the moment, mainly due to the difficulties of previewing the font size (most of the fonts in the template have a size of 100 or more). You would need to do that in Inkscape for the time being.

Try using the MOV (h.264) video export option. That one does not crash for me.

Hi,
I'm having the same issue. I tried with MOV instead and MP4 (advanced export options) and it worked =) thanks

Can you help with this problem?
