Are translations automatically accepted/reviewed ?

Asked by Sveinn í Felli

I was wondering if translations would be automatically accepted/reviewed in LP ? That is how/when the status shifts to accepted/current (green) instead of pending/review (violet) ? Should we, mortal translators, send you a message when we have finished our PO's ?

Best regards,

Thats a great question. I have no idea. If you have some time, please dig
around and help us understand the best process for approving translations.
I just haven't had time to look into it yet. =) Thanks!

Hi, finally got some answers to the original issue:
<https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/rosetta/+question/95425>

Briefly; "To get them all to "green" you will have to simulate an external
upstream by exporting and re-importing all translations. Please be aware
of bug 354372 and more importantly of its duplicate bug 353981."

In this case I don't think the issue is that important, depends on the project managers whether they bother to please their translators ;-)

Interesting. That sounds dangerous... to export everything and import
everything just to make it turn green. I wonder why they don't have a
simple "Accept" button. Thanks for looking into this.
