Movie Length

Asked by p0intman

I am noticing that the timeline is ending at around 9 minutes. I have tried to add more clips but it doesn't seem to extend this. Is this a limit set somewhere? I haven't found any options to change it.

Thanks

Nevermind, I just realized when I saved the project to resume later I can set the length in there, just not in the interface anywhere.

Hello pOintman,

Yes you can set the timeline length when you create a project, and also if you do File->Save As and save it back to the same filename, it gives you the option of defining the timeline length.

I guess the timeline should be smarter, and extend automatically when a long
clip is added. We'll get to that point eventually. Thanks!
